"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." (Joshua 1:9)

Dear Friends and Partners in Ministry,

The Lord strengthened our hearts with this powerful promise one evening, reassuring us that He is ordering our footsteps. He led us to Siguatepeque, and He continues to guide us faithfully as we walk out this calling day by day. We told you we felt like Abraham—stepping out in faith-filled confidence toward a clear destination even when the details remained unknown; now we can report that God's faithfulness has been remarkable!

Prayers Answered Before We Asked

We thank the Lord for answering your prayers in ways that exceeded our expectations! In our last newsletter, we asked you to join us in praying for two critical needs: a house to rent and a 4x4 vehicle to purchase. We're thrilled to report that both prayers have been gloriously answered!

Through contacts in the Siguatepeque area, God provided us with a spacious house to rent for the three months we're planning to stay. It's comfortable, well-located, and has given us the perfect place to prepare for a harvest in Siguatepeque. Even more amazing is how God provided our vehicle—Julia's sister Mary, who we visited in October, sold us a reliable 2004 Ford Explorer 4x4, which runs beautifully despite its age. What a blessing to have this family connection provide exactly what we needed! Without a doubt, God knows our needs before we even ask Him!

Settling Into Our Calling

On February 19, we arrived in Siguatepeque to begin our three-month stay, and with each passing day, we appreciate this place where God has called us even more. Siguatepeque is absolutely beautiful, sitting at an elevation of 3,600 feet above sea level. The high altitude blesses the town with a wonderfully temperate climate—something we're loving more each day!

While we're here allowing God to lead us step by step, we're also taking Spanish classes at a local language school to maintain and sharpen our language skills. Both Jeff and Julia are seeing noticeable improvement in their Spanish since immersing themselves in daily life here, and we're incredibly thankful for this progress. There's nothing quite like living in a place to really cement the language!

Preparing for a Harvest

As we close this update, we're asking you to join us in prayer for successful street ministry. We've been distributing gospel tracts, and now we're preparing to launch evangelistic campaigns in the parks of Siguatepeque. These campaigns will allow us to preach the Gospel openly and connect with people right where they are.

Please pray with us that God's Word will penetrate the hearts of those who hear, and that souls will be gloriously saved! We're believing God for a harvest in Siguatepeque!

Walking Forward Together

God bless each one of you for your love, support, and prayers for HOPE Missions.

Serving Him with grateful hearts,

The Jeff Hertzler Family
